Uhhhh I tend to hoard motors. Because I’m my head I tell myself I’ll eventually use them…
Tbh I ordered 4 6396 back in the end of Jan and well they kept getting pushed back so I said fuck it I’m tired of waiting and got some from @mackann instead. And then they all showed up within 15 mins of each other. So now I have 8.
EDIT: Well technically I have 12, 8 6396 and 4 6374

Only 62lb’s??? I was expecting Klaus Bajaboard heavy… That’s pretty light for 8 motors

I would not do that. Maybe use HFI set at like Sensorless ERPM HFI: 750erpm

I already did and it was stupid. HFI didn’t work at all. 1esc per 1 motor the only working option.

Yes I mean HFI using 1 ESC per motor but set at a really low erpm
But that would be so loud, I’ll spook pedestrians. I would just as soon use spur gears.
Volume matters to me bc this is a daily driver in tourist heavy spots.
Tourist and birdscooters spook like horses. They will veer toward you despite that being the worst action to take.

Negative, the HFI is only running when you are like below 0.5mph (0.8km/h)
Then it’s dead silent. Try it out
Lower the erpm to 750
Also I don’t think much about eight motors is going to be quiet

This is a fail if you thought I was cheating with a shoulder bolt.
TLDR: buy 10mm pulleys from real vendors. Mboards is not real. Don’t try to cut your own from 8mm ID pulleys.
