3d servisas fatboy channel trucks and Mbs matrix 3

Any experience with the 3d servisas channel truck and the mbs matrix 3 on which one is more stable at speeds above 50mph.

Hmm not a bad suggestion guess that would be stable at 50

generally, people don’t go for channel trucks if they want high speed as they aren’t very stable. a good alternative would be the Duality Trucks by Tito Systems although he’s waiting on new axles for the next batch.

Put a beefier motor on it, and it’ll do 50 as well. You might want Stooge trucks otherwise, I know at least one person has done off-road with them.

Never heard of them I’ll check it out yeah normally you want to use rkp but i need the off road capabilities too

Oh you’re saying 3-link trucks like newbee or stooge yeah i heard they are pretty good.

But seriously, ESK8 is not the best transportation if you want to travel at 50 mph regularly. Stability aside, even above 30 mph is limited to having a great riding surface. Other transports like a motorcycle/eMoto is the way to go. I’d say even high-powered scooters are not suited for cruising at 50 mph with their 10-12 in wheels.

That is true but I ride regularly at 35-40mph on 110mm with my current setup and it is designed to handle 30mph it is a modifed tynee ultrax pro. I dont always want to ride at 50mph but hiting it here and there sounds fun i wear pretty narly motocross gear when i go above 30mph too. I just want to hit those speeds with the safest channel trucks they have available. Eventually i want to get a motorcycle but i love esk8 and i know it is possible heath lewis and plenty others have done it.

Would the tito trucks work with a deck that has 35° front and 25° tail. Because my deck isnt built like a normal deck.

should be fine. for speed, you usually don’t want a high rear angle anyways so with the -15° baseplate in the rear, that’ll give you 5° in the rear and you can bring it up to 10° with one of the angled risers that comes with the trucks. tito recommends 15° final rear angle but you’ll probably be fine at 5-10°

Thanks for the info wouldnt it be 10° in the rear and with the rear angle riser 15°? I feel like having less of a rear angle will only effect the turnability only slightly and have no negative effects on the stability. Hows the clearance on it though because I’m running double stack

you’re absolutely right. i did math for 20 accidentally.

you can always experiment with this but i’ve found lower angles and steer focused up front to be more stable at speed when racing for me

you’ll have to check the duality thread or ask tito. i can’t speak on the mtb clearance

So they can be flipped so Im not worried about the clearance. Thst dude made some killer trucks. Hopefully they are available soon
