I have an idea for this, IMO it would be simplest (for a single unit or very small batch at least) to buy injection molded mount plates like this and attach them to a printed sink plate

It already has countersunk holes to attach it, and the molded part is probably stronger than a printed part unless it was quite a bit bigger or designed very well. If you want a cad model I can put something together tomorrow or Monday

This is a really good idea. A plate that can hold one would work for some of the heavier bike lights out there. A plate than can hold two mounts would work for lighter lights.

Yeah very fair. I left out for brevity having a big ass washer or fender washer but you’re right this’d be a danger zone without and possibly with that mitigation
