Yea, halfway through next test print and I’ve got to say I really think it’s underextruding. I changed it from 135steps/mm to 125steps/mm at 50mm/sec and it’s a loot worse. Finally seeing some holes and gaps.
I’ll bump up the flow next round
Pics?
Idk, it’s acting like overextrusion but it looks like underextrusion.
@mishrasubhransu No, I have Combing Mode ON but No in Skin. I don’t know about any other skin textures
Do you have the skin texture enabled? One that produces a matte finish? I forget th exact name…
Tried calibrating using 100mm and found out I was waaaaay off in my E-steps. I set it to 152steps/mm. Printing right now. I’ll check back on it tomorrow when I get in to work
Yeah if you turn esteps/mm down, you’ll be underextruding more goof
I just had an issue with one of my printers after switching it to a plastic cable braid instead of fabric.
It was so rigid that on large prints, it would bend up and on very specific moves… would bump my back left nozzle making it tighter and tighter.
Fun stuff!
Actual fucking lol
@Jujo, so what was it finally? Was overextrusion the problem or underextrusion or something else?
I haven’t had the time to head over to the printer and check, sorry
Prusament ASA and 0,2mm Layer height. Infill with 200 mm/s.
Idk what caused the look of the top layer. Shrinking rate is not that high as ABS, I guess
Some warping was involved btw.
Decrease the flow for the top layer by 10% and see if it helps. To me it looks overextruded.
You’re not going to use a riser block that tall are you?
Make sure you’re using strong hardware!
ASA=The ABS for outdoor use.
Always.
Can someone help with my esteps calibration
I set it to 150 and then tried and I got like 10mm out when printing 100mm
Using Titan aero
Thanks
Changing it on tiny machines screen cr10 pro
Does it make sense that my esteps is around 500?
Or is there something wrong if it has to be that high
