Same question, doesn’t have to be smaller tho. Did anyone CAD the shell?
I don’t have the shell design, but I made a cover to make it easier to hold
Yeah I saw that, it’s cool but I wanted to be able to make shells myself as I live on a remote island and I’d rather avoid shipping.
Last time I lived on an island, we had a lot of shells
Yeah we have shells but they stink
With hoyt selling just the shell, I don’t see them sharing the cad file for it.
If anyone has a broken one or scratched up shell, I’ll model it up. Or you could send a fully functional remote, I’m not picky
I’d pay shipping to get it to you, assuming it is domestic.
Whatever you’re comfortable with. I will send it back when I’m done if you still have need for it.
Can you make dual helical offset teeth?
Cool, I mean I’d pay shipping for anyone who will send you the shells. Wouldn’t be really cost effective if I sent you mine and I would prefer a model of the bamboo one.
Ahh ok I was very confused when you said you could do it domestically makes much more sense.
Guys does anyone have a design for the 58 tooth helical right side slave gear for @Trampa gear drives
It’s a custom tooth profile.
Vesc based tooth profile
jajajajajajaja
If it’s a Helical gear profile it’s entirely possible that it’s custom due to the nature of tooth mesh optimizations/tooling constraints.
Helical/Herringbone is not nearly as standardized of a profile as straight-tooth gears, so likely this is out of necessity rather than any attempt towards making a gear proprietary.
Who invited your logic and reason into our vendor bashing?
