haha I clearly totally missed this because in my previous post here I talked about that idea

what if you put the two smaller rod ends bolted to the main bushing threads directly not on a collar. hmm. That almost seemingly would allow you to change the angle of the small links with simpler geometry. idk maybe I missed something there, oh right the force of the motors rotation is counteracted by the screw in the collar/axle keyway.

I see. Detaching one of the links would allow the axle to twist, messing up the axle travel.

What if you attach it differently. Like this (yellow) instead of the usual way (green)?

I mean connecting the spherical joint is directly to the axle instead of going thru a collar. Axle twist may no longer be an issue even if only one of the links is attached. (I dunno what I’m talking)

Love this guy’s geeky analysis of skateboard geometries especially with reference to true LDP (pump not push). Obviously he hasn’t cottoned on to esk8 yet though.
Changing Angles

The Writer of the article was 100% correct about "their " modeling as non functional.

Problem is their model was a poor interpretation and shows a complete midunderstanding of 3-link function.

Super irresponsible.
