Do you have a price point set for a pair of the trucks out of curiosity?

I asked and I believe it was the same price as the drive granted those were for the beta sets so take it with a grain of salt.

The price is not £260 as that would not be feasible anymore. It was possible with the quotes I was given when these proto trucks were initially produced.

DM me if you want to know the price and bundle discounts.

What motors you guys running on your MTB? Still looking around for some for the Bro deck. I’ll be doing the 8/44 5.5:1 when @moon drops it so it’ll need to be an 8mm shaft.

@Lee_Wright ?

I’m going to be running Flipsky 63100s. I’m pretty sure they do that one with an 8mm shaft.

Are they battle hardened?

Nah.

Which one ? Interested of, full closed overheat too fast

Do you take any precaution regarding water ingress when using open cans?

I cover my hall sensors with epoxy. If you don’t use sensors, no need to cover anything at all.

Interesting, thanks.

You cover the little 3 effect sensors and the pcb? Would conformal coating also work?

I use MT 6365 closed cans but I am not heavy and I have a lightweight board. Great motor for me

I’m running 12s on 200kv aps 6384 motors @ 5:1 gearing cause I like speed.

Honestly less torquey than my 10s mtb on 190kv 6369 power plant motors @ 4.8:1 gearing.

I am blaming/suspicious of:

  • the 9" wheels on the 12s mtb vs 8" on the 10s
  • 10s battery drawing more low end current than 12s (maybe?)
  • the 10 kv motor difference
  • the 12s board being much heavier

Waiting on bolts and bearings so I can check fitments with

MBS Rockstar/Fivestar
Trampa Superstar/Megastar/Phatladz

Which also means you could run 9" tyres on your Lacroix

Did you buy a hypertruck or did someone send you one?
