Just some context for where that BMS likely came from, do what you will with that info.
I haven’t used a ZBMS, my only experience is with LLT blah blah blah grain of salt. I believe the primary difference is cost VS. polish.
LLT BMS’s are made to be used among a pretty wide variety of things, and are therefore not perfectly tailored to an ESK8 battery. though they operate on a larger scale than basically any esk8 company which contributes to their ability to sell at a very low cost.
Zbms was designed by a university student, which is to say “designed with a lot more passion and skill than development money” it’s an excellent BMS IMO however is more costly than LLT in exchange for being immediately tailored to ESK8 use with less fuss and better polish.
