Hi @dickyho!

I got a question about your motor mount for paris trucks. I dont have paris trucks but I’m wondering if this moter mount will fit my truck. Can you maybe give me the diameter measures of the hole for the truck axle?

And I’m also wondering if the kegel pulley will fit my caguam’s.

Thx! Greetz Evee

Hi. it is 19mm diameter, and the clamp can open or close a little.

Sorry,I am not sure about caguam’s.

@dickyho maybe a bit stupid question, but what is the purpose of the bearings (8mm and 10mm)?

if use bolt on install, then don’t need the bearing.

if use press fit, need the bearing.to pu inside the pulley.

Thanks Again

I just got my order, and I am very happy with the pulley, I got the alignment perfect in no time (bolt on install).

However, my wheels have a kegel core but with different hole sizes (its an onsra 115mm rubber wheel). The press fit part fits perfectly, but the small tubing is impossible to get into the holes, because instead of the regular 6.2mm these holes are only 5.5mm. Is the tubing necessary, or is it fine if I skip that?

with the tubing, it just works more stable, the idea is too fill the space, in that case the bolts will not move. you could wrap something around the bolts to achieve that too.

if it works ok, then without tubing is fine.

Okay, thank you!

You can also drill out the core if you have a drill press, if the inserts are press fit into the new hole then it should be structurally sound still

Sadly I don’t have a drill press, otherwise I would do that. With a regular drill I am afraid I would do more harm than good. Keep in mind the core is aluminium on this wheel, not plastic. I think I will try a layer or two of heatshrink, not sure how long that will last though. I just realised it would make sense to add some loctite to the screws anyways… So I will have to take it apart.

Hi, Dicky. Do you have the 40t or 44T kegel pulleys available?

Hi, anyone know whats going on here. Bought these pulleys used in a package with the whole drive train. After taking everything apart I noticed the pulleys pins are shorter then the example I bough for my single drive. Also they seem to be bent. They have a lot of play in my Caguamas. Any tips how to replace them and where to source replacement pins. I have unscrewed the little screws holding them in place but they seem to be glued in or pressed in additionally.

I wouldn’t try to replace the pins. I would just put tape or heatshrink on the pins to take up the play. Looks like they are long enough to engage with the core just fine.

Hi. all these pulleys were with long pins. but people said that a lot of play. So I was adjusted the pins’ angle a very slightly, I wanted to let the pins grub on the wall. but in this way,if with long pins, will get too much, can’t place it into the hub. So I changed into short pins.

to take the pins out, you need to use fire to burn it ,take it out while still hot.
