the bad cell was down to 1.996v. The rest of the group is at 2.5v. gonna charge em under supervision this weekend.
Guessing by how the the other cells recovered I’m optimistic. But ,
Thanks dude. I’ll grab those off you just in case though.

Was talking to pooky and we think I’m dumb. I don’t get any moisture overnight but I left them outside and maybe just got just enough to cause it. That or it’s just a factory dud.
Either way I’m terrified. Battery.Building in an apartment is just not nearly as fun.

The culprit has been evicted

Sorry I don’t have more intermin pictures.

Here’s the final product though. Basically just soldered on wires and wrapped that bitch up

Last battery like this I build for a while. Battery building seems to make me very anxious haha

I’ll probably charge at 10 amps only. Though 20 amps is still just .5c per cell…

Can’t wait to try this baby tomorrow morning

lol is this why you’re gettin leaky cells?

Not sure which readout to trust… 16 or 20 amps

That bms sometimes limits the current.

It’s probably truly outputting 20 but the bms is limiting for safety

Literally looks like a bomb

Of the power supply is doing 20 , and the BMS is limiting 16 to the battery. Then somewhere 4amps*50v is 200w is going poof and that’s no good. 200w of poof is a looot
