7.5A rated?
Are those JST PH connectors? Their pins are rated at 2A…adding up to 6A rating for that output connector. How toasty are those FETs, inductor, and output connector getting at 7.5A?

Surprised to see an input EMI filter and fuse though, excellent!

What voltage range is acceptable for the input?

Are there pull down resistors already on the HV Raiden’s ADC pins? Or would I have to add them?

The buck looks cool. Glad to see an enable pin on it.

True, jst connectors are rated 2 apms each pin. During the test, temperature rise looks fine under 7.5a.

Hi, there is no pull down resistors.

Are you sure they are pull-down resistors? I feel like they are pull-up.

You might be right on that.

Excellent.

The buck has an enable function, that turns it off with the VESC?

I looked at the example connections, and it looks like the power button passes through the buck converter, then into the power button connector on the ZESC.

This can be applied to other VESCs also?

yes, pull-up en pin to power on. easy to sync with other vesc.
