You got fake decks mate?

Double angle like that (going outward will make the board a lot less stable
I might go with this one https://www.skateshop24.de/blank-longboard-deck-natural-drop-down-39.8-x-10-2755
Seems to have a lot of space for the wheels (can sand a bit too), dropped and widder than the other one (i have big feet…)

@dareno next target acquired. Derailment request pending

well fuck it I bought it
First time I had no taxe (because switzerland) and shipping was free, so it was very cheap (52 euros only)
Well, if it’s bad, at least I could do a review of the deck

Its an evo clone.

Probably the most stable platform for esk8 there is.
Not the most twisty of decks but trust me its definitely one of the most stable.

Just point me in the right direction.

but isn’t it giving more angle to the truck there for more turning action, and less stability ?

Go ride an evo on 50 degree trucks and then talk to me. I’m not sure what that chart is actually showing. The last deck is better flattened out?

No I get you, but if we think only about the theory of it, it will be less stable than a flat deck with the same truck
It’s the first case here on the picture, and the evo is not the same, it has asymmetric angles

The reason for the evo being so popular is the fact that under full acceleration it remains stable.
This is a lucky find for us because downhill decks are not designed with great big motors driving the board. They are designed for gradual acceleration with mobility. Thats the reason for the front being wedged for turning but the rear de wedged for stability. We experience issues because these decks are not designed to have powered back wheels. The evo with its rear angle takes the wobble away without losing too much turning ability. Still pretty straight liney but still the best esk8 deck imo

The LY Evo is the most stable downhill platform in production today. It directly translated to esk8. Look at all the Evo builds that have been done.

Daren, he’s saying that that deck doesn’t have the same angles as Evo that’s why it will be less stable than Evo.

We are talking about the one Mike linked. Same or similar angled deck

Will you make your own enclosure for it?

Isn’t the Subsonic Century also the same grouping?

I was talking of the other one, big misunderstanding :joy:

Let me know if that deck has alot of flex, maybe I’ll buy it too

You know, its really not hard to build your own custom decks.

I really would have expected this community to be a lot more into it.
