Xtla | surfrodz motor mount

Notice!

You need to use the black spacer (included) for the rodbar to get the correct distance. Do not tighten the rodbar without spacer!

roger that. just FYI for the rest of you. if you have the old pressfit, you wont need to use the spacers.

Dat moment when you realise you don’t need to bring an allen key AND spanner to adjust your idler anymore… Wonderful mounts mate!! In love!

Your axle can not go through? Did you remove the hanger grub screw?

If yes, screw them in. It should fit perfectly.

If you use other axles to this hanger before, you need to check if the inside coil is ok when you remove them. use existing shoulder bolt to check if they can go though, if they can, my axle also will.

You can not use bare hand to screw them in, you need wrench.

Yes the grub screw is removed. The original ones and yours screw in all the way. I used a wrench and its definitely in all the way. How do I check the coil?

Thats weird, Can you measure it? Bottom up some stick or caliper, to see the inside length of your hanger.

It should in all the way

I’m not near them at the momment, you can compare this measurement, mine will be 3mm longer because used by press fit.

The pink mark. Mine will be 3mm longer than the existing.

Judging from the mark on your existing axle (pink arrow) If you add 3mm there (used by the press fit area), that would be my axle length (Measure without the m8 thread area and before the wrench area).

I think the axle not yet go trough (but don’t push it if not sure yet)

Cek the coil thread condition with other m8 bolt, make sure the thread is good, cek your existing axle thread, is good when you remove it, in some case removing existing axle can ruin the inside coil thread. Do you use some thread lock with your existing axle.

no thread loc ever. threads on the existing bold look good …FYI, both sides are like this. I tried another bold and all seems good. weird!!

Cek above measurement i tell you about the axle dimension that goes inside the hanger. Your existing axle fully in, and + 3mm. Let me know.

Try to use it on your front hanger/without the press fit, it should be a 3mm gap, because that gap is made for the pressfit placement.

Like this, i use 3mm spacer on my front axle.

I get the same exact thing for the front trucks as well.

Hmm i’m still not sure if SR has different anatomy inside the hanger :face_with_monocle:. Can you give me this measurement, i assume existing bolt is 80mm? when it fully in, how much the length of the expose axle.

Heres my hanger measurement
47mm without the pressfit, so with the press fit in it would be around 50mm like yours. So i think the inside anatomy is same.
