The extended baseplate is pretty much already flipped. Meaning the original baseplate had a 15mm or so offset with the hanger outward. The extended baseplate has a 15mm or so offset with the hanger inward. Inward hanger gives about 20mm additional ground clearance than the original. Flipping the hanger outward on the extended baseplate would give a offset of 50mm or so, the extended baseplate was not really intended to deal with all that leverage.
