Xiaomi Mijia - Because you asked for it

What’s up, see below for my long form review of the Xiaomi Mijia electric screwdriver, since a few of you asked for this figured I might as well do it proper and get the good lighting out. Feedback always welcome and yeah I kind of blew out the WB on the first segment.

I love manufacturing and supply chain logistics so I like to how different fabs operate and what equipment they use :stuck_out_tongue:

No thanks. I’ll use my brushless m12. Impact with adjustable levels. Order of magnitude faster.

But 4 of these color coded with Allen’s. Would be nice

For serious work It’s the Hilti, but you can’t fit that in a go bag.

Nice review, might need to pick up one of these

It’s not fancy but it’s a solid off hand tool for breakdown and assembly.

The only thing its missing is variable torque/ratcheting, other than that it’s perfect.

Yeah either would have been nice, I would have settled for ratcheting though.

Nice video! Could you link the wera kit you showed? Im having trouble finding it on their site

Is this able to take off axle nuts?

Not unless you have the right tool/tip in it. You would have to get it aftermarket since it only comes with screw driver and hex/Allen key bits…

I was more wondering about the torque.
I even have some hex drill bits I’d want to but to work.

All my tools are in a go bad atm. Living in a single room with a gf means very tight spaces and I like this for that

Torque should be enough, but if you want to be on the safe side I would recommend the NoCry Cordless drill… It has 10nm torque and has torque control  Doesn’t look close to as nice as the Mijia though

Yes but as mentioned below you have to get an Allen type fitting to like 9/16ths or something, that was my first thought as well when I got it but sadly none of my bits were big enough so I’ll have to order one.

I’ve been using a small rechargable black and Decker screwdriver for years, works fine on truck nuts(with the appropriate head)

I have that same wera set, it’s sex

I love the Wera kit it legit will screw things that other drivers seemingly slip on and the hot swap tips are great, shit should I do a separate review for those as well :joy:
