Alright gotta sell this project as I’m never going to finish it. High level overview:
$1500 + PP Fees
- Super Spine chassis #25
- I recently redid the bushings on the front for more turn
- 18s6p P45B(?)
- Battery doesn’t have a ton of cycles definitely less than 100.
- As pictured it’s currently sitting at 3.6v per cell
- Built by @poastoast via SKP
- ZBMS
- Will come with 4 fresh/unused 8in Dakar tires on TomiBoi Hubba Hubs with spacers
- The 4 used ones currently on the board I’m keeping
- I’m not going to send the necessary hardware for the hubs or mounting them to the spur gears. Easy enough to source on Amazon.
- Orange oversize footstop from NewBee
- I forget what Kv the motors are, but they’re fairly new as you can see in the picture
- They’re less than 205kv for sure, @Skyart Art might remember.
- Comes with 6 of these HK led lights
- I wanted to build a light bar so it comes with a bull bar with necessary 3d prints to mount onto the 3 Links. But you’ll have to find a way to mount the lights, I was going to design some sort of circular holder for 4.
- Comes with a lighting module to control the leds from Kamen @Zyb and a buck converter to step down the voltage from the battery.
- PoastMote Puck
- Will ship with a variable charger I got from Alibaba, you might have to set it to the right voltage when you get it.
- METR that you have to connect to while riding for logs
- And a bunch of Dakar stickers I had cut out lol
- Some bad stuff:
- Smoke damage from ESC fires
- A giant hole in the back foot rest for ESC mounting
- And holes for regular footed MBS binding
- Obviously it’s exposed so it’s not water tight, but you should already know that since it’s a Super Spine
Basically, the board just needs a dual ESC and you’re good to go I think this would make the most sense to me Go-FOC 2G300 – MakerX
The Short Story
So, basically this board has been the test bed for a number of ESCs and they’ve pretty much all blown up on me.
The End.
Annnnd I just don’t have time nor the funds to slap on some MakerX G300 and call it a day. Otherwise it has been a really fun commuter board. Wish I could’ve taken the Dakar look all the way with the lights.
