It’s spot welded. Only the ending terminals of the battery are welded with 10 awg flexible copper strand wire. So two major welds. And of course the bms wires. Bms wires are welded to nickel strips.
Those bolts go through the battery like columns like a sandwhich it compresses the covers, kind of like a trampa battery. You can take the battery apart so you can service it easily. e.g. if you need to replace a bad cell you unbolt it and can easily cut the nickel strips, take bad cell out, and place new one, add more nickel strip, revolt it, good to go.
I could take it apart to show you but it’s a lot of work… and forgot to take photos when I was putting it together.
I feel like this is very steep price considering that you can get this brand new for half of the price with the same range and power battery also the trucks I have the same ones with the suspension built in. I could not get them to turn for shit did you replace the springs with bushings? Does it turn ?
Also worth noting at that price range you are also competing with meepo 4wd hurricane and other top tier contenders. Where in saying love my board but good luck
If it doesn’t arrive or arrives damaged, the seller is always on the hook. PayPal/credit cards will claw back the money. I’ve always paid for insurance when shipping boards I’ve sold, even though it’s kind of absurdly expensive.
I think power wise my board would smoke anything in that price range. I could be wrong just glancing at them but I built this thing because anything with the power I wanted years ago was $4000 or more. But I am not sure what my board is worth nowadays. TBH I just want to sell it. I paid around $2200 to build it with all the components you see and I noted.
If it doesn’t sell I’ll keep lowering the price until people get interested in buying it to part it out or ride it, etc. Let the market decide the price I guess. I am not in a rush to sell it either.
Selling cause I had a bad fall speed wobble on concrete and fell on my pinky finger… Also, got a baby know so it’s hard to find the time to ride. Also, scared to fall again.
It’s a great ride for sure though. Really enjoyed it. If you buy it, maybe tighten the barrels a bit if you’re going to go faster. I have some sturdier barrels I can throw in as well.
