Had some can issues, so cut the wires and what do you know I fix it on the bench at this point I’m just moving onto some ESCS I’m no fancy guy so it can do.
Im still selling it as maybe defective since it seemed to be a firmware issue but could turn out otherwise.
Im asking what i paid roughly for the ESC (Paid 325Euro for it all in total), its a week old and just bench tested both side works perfectly and id advise people to use it as split PPM for better reliability (Should be solder points on it, was told so)
Price for everything (Im keeping the Trampa lanyard!) 180GBP / 200 Euro.
Buyer pays shipping and fees, im in Denmark shipping is around 15-20 euro for most places
Nothing makes sense : You have problem with it, so you’re selling it as defective ? Then you ask the full price for it, then say 200 euros ?
I really don’t get it
I don’t understand this too ^^ what’s the price for what now?
You seem to be selling probably not correctly working stuff and say you want what you paid yourself? I could find this particular model for 260 Euro new…
Wrote the post on my phone so it autocorrect half of the sentences when writing.
For some reason Flipsky Dual Vescs arent working with can on the newer version of the vesc tool (2.xx) (The auto can scan feature messes it all up)I downgraded to 0.96 they used in their video and it worked flawless, after i cut the motor wires of to install an ESC to get going.
The ESC works flawless, but to prevent anyone from buying it and then having the same issue just to complain i mentioned it and said that it could be a defect later on.
Yes im asking what i paid just for the VESC for the entire bundle, remote bluetooth module and VESC with it all ready to go.
Thats 49USD for the remote, 229USD for the vesc and 15 USD for the module + 50USD Shipping and around 30 - 40USD import fees.
I only wanted what i paid for the VESC, i dont want full price for a single product lol.
Mate, you tried to sell it on the ESK Danmark group as well, now kindly fuck off trying to sell half-broken hardware for 200 euro. No one will buy it mate:
Ofcourse i tried to sell it there? I post all my things for sale there, sold boards in the group and parts since the group was made never had anyone complain.
Theres essentially nothing wrong with the VESC, as my other reply states the newer firmware is bs on these vescs if i read the manual included id also have known it comes with an older firmware made for the 0.96 tool and was already pre-setup to work with the remote but i as anyone else would do updated it just for it not to be compatible there.
And i advised people to use split PPM since can on this vesc is made very poorly, i noticed its 3 traces where 1 of them is running into a switch that could when using the board be turned of due to vibrations with that killing one of the drvs.
I know how to use the forum, I’ve been on here since the beginning and on the other since many years ago, I wrote the reply on my phone that didn’t allow me to copy and press reply.
If anyone should learn anything you should learn that there is such a thing as being nice to each other and not an ass against everyone.
Your comment history isn’t outright bright, calling someone’s mom a fat cow. Are you 10?
Everyone more or less knows these vescs on here and buys them for budget boards or knows the gamble and since you refuse to understand it I’m still not just selling the VESC for 200 Euro, I’m including a remote and a Bluetooth module making the VESC essentially only cost around 160/170Euro depending on who you ask. (Even less if we count shipping and import fees in) But it doesn’t matter anymore since I’ve included it in the sale of my entire board.
And do your research before making such statement, it makes a whole lot of sense.
If you disconnect your canbus cable while riding, you’re going to fry the slave drv.
Its a known thing and these VESCS are just two 6.6s “glued” together with an onboard Canbus cable you could legit snap them in half and use them on two different builds.
The canbus on here can be turned on and off via an onboard slide switch, I’ve seen multiple people wire theirs up to split ppm exactly because of this.
And for your “no one will buy it comment” I had multple people bid me on Esk8 Danmark, even as a fully defective unit i had one offer me 600DKK just for the vesc so thats more or less what i went after and made a decent price with it all included.
You asked 200 euro for it there too mate. Just give people a proper price instead of saying “I’ll sell it for 200 euro” and use that to get it to a price where it’s actually okay with you. Just start with setting the price to something thats actually okay with you.
200 Is the price im asking, so how isnt it a “proper price”? Im asking exactly the same on both pages, +/- like 2 - 3 DKK just to round it off.
I really cant see what your problem is anywhere, its my unit im asking the price im asking if you think its to expensive for let me quote “Some half broken shit” then dont buy it?
If i cant sell it then i cant sell it? Then theres no reason to start attacking people and telling them to fuck off.
And what if it is defective? Why would you care when it’s written that it is?
I only mentioned that there’s a “problem” with it to prevent having to deal with a return, I’m straight up honest with all my sales and even if there’s the smallest thing I mention it.
Its one of the drawbacks of me working as a customer service guy, I’m used to tell even the smallest details to give people a good experience.
The unit works perfectly fine, this morning I unsoldered the extra PPM connector I soldered on took it for a 13km ride to drain the batteries to charge them to storage voltage and had no issues running it with Can.
There’s a “design flaw” on the VESC that makes it incompatible the newest version of Vesc tool instead of me selling it and having someone notice the same thing I mention it. (I tried with others and they do the exact same thing giving me the same error telling me the firmware on the other vesc needs to be the same version)
If the unit was really broken don’t you think id try and get it fixed or a new one to replace it? I bought it 15 days ago so I’m well within my “warranty period” and could do a simple Paypal chargeback and throw it in the trash.
And even if I’m selling something that’s broken why would you need to go around and attack me? People who would buy it or have interest in it would have it because they know what they are going into and buy it because its useable for them? Its electronics, if it’s broken you fix it it’s not harder then that if you know your way around.
Ive bought many broken vescs back in the days and fixed them up to get them at a discount.
And right there I see a problem, on the website currently it’s 219 USD translate to 200 euro and some change. Just stating the obvious, you won’t sell a defect product for the same price as you bought it for.
