Sorry to highjack this thread. Didn’t want to start a new thread. I might get this single rim double tire “EUC”. InMotion E20 is on sale for $319! Looks like a good learner/teaching unit. I want to teach my kid to ride an EUC…technically I need to re-learn since I haven’t been on one since my accident 4 years ago. Last time I was able to get the Mten3 going and turning, but struggling to get on and off was as hilarious to watch.
Did you ever get the MTen4? I was thinking about getting a Begode A2, just slightly larger.
Duuuude.
My suggestion would be to buy it on Amazon and send it back if you don’t love it…
I bought the E20, because that 400 dollar price is just under my radar of having sense.
We got it in June I think.
You can get all the cool toys for your kids but can’t necessarily get them to play with them…
I think it is actually a decent value for 400 bucks. It moves me.
And that is cool.
It’s so weirdly different from an EUC though…
It is easy to learn.
Let me find some videos.
This is the 5 year old.
He is into riding things
It’s a cool toy, but it has not taken off in popularity like the electric balance bike did for the little dude. Or the hoverboard for the middle dude.
E20 is so goofy. I tried it. Loved it
I also tried e20 it was weird. But I also suck at EUC so…
It’s is weird…
It’s especially weird if you are used to riding EUC, and now you don’t have the same single pivot point…
Turning is super weird.
But I think it is an approachable PEV, and anyone can jump on and ride in an few minutes.
It would be cool if after learning you could switch the two wheels for a single tire…
As my friend Alex said, it’ll highlight every single bad euc habit you have. The way I start/stop is weird, and it makes mounting the e20 difficult.
I was thinking that. The empty channel between the tires could be designed to hold a single tire.
What do y’all think about the Begode A2 as a beginner wheel real EUC? Or should I just get something like the InMotion V10,11? Thinking about selling the ONYX, my city is being a D with e-bike crack downs because of all the rich parents getting their irresponsible teenagers Sur Rons and getting noticed by riding recklessly. EUC and Esk8 is still in the grey zone.
I think my daughter would like the E20 because she rides around at full speed on this Segway Mini. This was her last year at 8y/o
The a2 is pretty good. It’s not too short, so you learn what you’ll need for larger wheels, and it also works really well as a secondary wheel since it’s not too slow/weak.
Unless you’re buying one of the new gen in motion wheels (v12 pro, v11y) I’d stay away since theyve proven themselves to be dangerously unreliable. Go with something smaller and cheap, and either sell or buy again when you outgrow.
Thought InMotion was the reliable and durable brand. I wanted to stay away from suspension ones as they are higher off the ground which would be harder as a beginner.
Inmotion is notorious for motherboards blowing up for no reason, faceplanting riders. Nobody really understands why, it’s completely random.
Stay away from suspension as a first wheel though.
Oh. I would kind of think the E20 would be a natural evolution for her from the Segway…
It’s totally worth a try dude.
If you are considering an EUC for yourself.
There is a lot going on there.
I think the A2+ would be a good starter wheel.
I would also encourage you to spend more.
Maybe not all the way to an in motion V14, or just send it and get that.
But maybe a Begode Falcon.
The Begode T4 Pro is a really good value too…
I have hit 1800 miles on the Patton and ride it almost every day and really enjoy having added the EUC experience to my life.
I think you can figure out a wheel with suspension easily enough, and overall that will be much safer.
It’s hard and weird I think either way dude.
I would not get too hung up on the suspension or height thing.
Whatever wheel you get will be hard to figure out.
But if you can power through it you will make it.
Getting the E20 as well will give you some decent foundation I think.
