WTB US decent hub motors

Think I’ll be getting some of these once I get through my 3 sets of NeoHub Sleeves and then they become door stops, thanks NotJeff!
the NeoHubs with the Sportser ride like no other electric board I’ve ridden so far (only ridden a few belt and hub set ups tbh), pretty silent and coasting with very little resistance is real nice.

haha, I thought it may have been, I saw your comment then this post
I’m running old ass 25R’s in 12s3p and the hubs really pull and handle hills no problem,
I wonder how the Unlimited X ones will compare?
just saw you can get delicious blue 77a sleeves for them

So dude…
Does your Enclosure not scrape when you are turning?

The enclosure I was wanting to use is probably a smidge taller and it was scrape City on the Demonseed with Paris and 85s…

So this got way more complicated…

I second this motion.

Mine did not scrape, I’ll have it back together tomorrow and will measure how much clearance

Would it scrape of you bottom mount the trucks?

No… That would give me plenty of clearance.
But I was really wanting the drop through vibe.

I ran this board top mount on Caguamas and it was ok.

I might go down the rabbit hole of making this like a hummie Deck.

Al @glyphiks you can teach me how to fiberglass right…

Route maybe 4 or 5mm to recess the battery.
Use a big Ben hummie Enclosure.

That would require me knowing what i’m doing first…

Just grab a Hummie deck and slam on the hubs and be done with it. I put this together to test the trucks on a road not unlike the smooth one above. (This is obvs not a hub board)

I think they’re the first bolt on pulleys i’ve seen that i’ve liked :ok_hand:

I think they’re Alien Drive systems from back in the day.
