WTB US decent hub motors

I have pretty good roads to ride…
Some crappy stuff on between but certainly routes that are smooth.

And recently we have gotten the best new freshies.

If you reach out to Bustin’ they’ll sell you a Sportster deck with enclosure…if anyone is interested

@jbshayward Did they quote you a price?

IIRC it was a fair bit cheaper to buy the Eboosted enclosure and a blank deck (gives you room for a bigger battery too) … however with the new electric Sportster from Bustin you get a small cutout routed for the battery similar to a Hummie deck.

I have one, I bought it about a year ago @ 275usd

Also, its not the same as there standard Sportster, it has the “Thermoglass” layers

Does it have that battery cutout like the new version of their electric boards on the website? Links in this thread:

Got any pics of your board?
How big a battery did you fit in there?

Just wanna say I did end up buying those 600W backfire hubs and I love them so far.

Running at 10S on Maker-x DV6 and I’m about to build a 12s2p p42A battery for it.

26mph and 1200W of combined power is plenty for my girlfriend’s board and is wonderfully lightweight. Now I’m considering a 4wd build for myself.

which sleeves are you using?

Got the grey 96MM that come on the set. They are actually really plush, even on semi-rough roads. My main board has TB110s so I’m impressed with how comparably the hubs ride.
