WTB Moon drive MBS truck adapters. Need one as old one is worn where bearing rides on it. It’s real sloppy and I don’t think green sleeve retaining compound will fill the gap.
If you can find an stl or step file of onei bet a 3d print in pps or NylonX would work.
It is something I’ll eventually, need, do, try.
Find file, I’ll print for free.
Give ATB shop a shout. They might be able to help as I think they distribute stuff for @moon now.
How is the bearing fit. Looks great bro
Hi , I specifically have the moon drive MBS truck adapter available in my garage for a while now and in a very good condition which i’m looking to dispose it at a discount price as i no longer have use for them and looking to sell , HMU if interested on my Email ( Nicolearteaga311088@gmail.com ) … I live in Dallas, TX and i hope you don’t have a problem with shipping to you…
It’s for OP, @Bigdaddyhawk
I got em printed in high temp cf nylon (Bambu labs PAHT).
I broke the little xsmart 3 I insulated and modded to print PPS.
Take the metal ones. Still welcome to the prints. I’ll post pics of them semi installed tomorrow
No I cannot pay 150.00 for the truck adapters @buttercup . Also I don’t know or trust you since you created an account just to try and sell me these truck adapters. Sorry I have red flags going off in my Moondrives and mbs matrix2’s that I just bought from a forum member for 100.00. I will have to stick to my friend/ forum members that give me good deals since I’m not made of money. Honestly I could have them CNC made for 30.00
Omg, mine were stuck.
So the ABS test was real thin. The nylon carbon fiber was pretty thick, but not 100%.
The fit on the nylon was terrible. I got one to fit after taking forever to get the drive disassembled. Bearing sit concentric…. Now.
No room for threaded insert. Let me tinker. I’ll mail something that isn’t guaranteed emergency visit tomorrow or next day. Saw the msg.
I’m guessing your dealing with the shrinkage of nylon
30% glass filled nylon: Shrinks by 0.3% in the flow direction and 1.0% in the cross flow direction
