I might have a replacement sentinel I could dig out. Do you have a picture of yours so I can compare?

You could delete the sentinel…
Sooo this is what I have. I made this mistake of touching the xt90 traces on the back of this sentinel with an Allen key. It shorted and I had to reflow the left bottom side of the trace. It ain’t pretty but it works like new.
$30 + shipping if you want it.

But I don’t have the knowledge or ability to rewire the BMS/charge port wires…

If you can solder, this is a good opportunity to learn a little more about the systems.
It’s relatively straightforward to delete the sentinel and folks here will help you. It’s really just wiring a charge circuit to the bms and battery.
If you don’t want to, buy my sentinel

Im good at a lot of stuff but not soldering 
I’ve got a friend I plan on helping me learn…
Once I’ve got it down I’ll come back and get some help deleting the sentinel.
