I’m also looking for a pair of these axles. Looks like the Lacroix website only sells them in sets of 4, but I only need two. Are you located in the US? If you buy a set of 4, I might be open to buying two of the axles off you.

I actually have the Lacroix Hypertrucks and Falcon Gear Drives on my Lonestar Super Sport and I really like them. In your opinion, what is a better set-up? Everyone seems to be on the Tito Duality band wagon these days.

. Never had any experience with the falcon drives.
I have ridden quite a few lone stars on hyper trucks and have a set of dualities. I always find it difficult to get the hyper trucks feeling loose AND stable - same old same old channel truck complaining and issues… more looser more unstable at speed. Dualities are more nimble and more stable at speed with good road feel.
Not really comparable so much as different animals. Like tkp vs surf trucks. Big difference in feel and how you set them up and what they’re for. That the hyper trucks are so expensive without a big improvement in performance overall has kept me from ever getting them for myself
Nothing is as wide afaik as hyper trucks but I’ve never needed it

I’ve had Hypertrucks, Matrix 3 and atm Duality on the same setup. I can vouch for Duality, changed the game for me. Though if you plan on getting Duality, you’d likely need new drives since idk if Falcon drive has adapters for different trucks.

For real tho, hypertrucks are just channel trucks that cost more, weigh more and IMO feel worse than pretty much any other channel truck i’ve tried.
And the falcon drives in my experience are just really finicky. Its not an easy or intuitive design, and it feels like you need just the right amount of magic and swear words to get them to run without binding up.
In short, it’s the worst drivetrain combination i’ve ever worked with (followed very closely by moon drives on matrix ii) and I wouldn’t recommend it to anybody.
BUT! That’s just my opinion and I’m a known asshole so please carry on!

I would 100% buy matrix iii over hypertrucks today, if you want a good basic channel truck. Especially since riptide is releasing the singularity bushing for them.
And yeah falcon drives are mid as fuck for a bunch of reasons you can search on the forum
