[WTB] [EU ] Glass Frit

Anybody know any good supply of glass frit in EU? In Pl it seems impossible to obtain any decent one.

Si much following this.
I’ve ended up ordering firm bullseye from USA.

I’ve ordered from a few shops in my country before, the websites are all in Dutch though. Stock levels vary from shop to shop depending on the colour and size you want. Some ship to the rest of the EU though, let me know if you need help ordering.

Take an old mason jar or 2, or some colored liquor bottles, put them in a bag or old towel or whatever, and smash it. Now take those pieces and put in your blender. Do not get stupid and push high gear, pulse it, depending on your lid on the blender pitcher use an extra bowl or gloves to hold it down, the bowl is just insurance Incase a piece went through it. So pulse it and pulse it some more, shake it to get it unsettled. Pulse again. Now DO NOT open the lid of your freshly ground Glass. It’s smokey but that ain’t smoke. Let the fog settle or take it outside. Dump into another container, I use a quart or pint size plastic yogurt container with holes stabbed in the lid. Poke different sizes of holes and get 2-4 more containers, shaking it out into separate containers it will eventually separate really well actually. Now depending on how fine you blended it you have 4 different grits. IT works quite well, little ghetto, a lot of up-cycle. If you think about the entire process to get a baby food jar size container of frit delivered to your door, you’ll thank me. Old mirror works well to, or if you know anyone with a glass eye, take that sucker to.

I wouldn’t recommend that Hotpotshop. I found the frit to be pretty inconsistent in size and the whole experience was a bit unprofessional. It was almost as if some poor old dear had been stuffing glass eyes and old bottles into her blender :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

I was really impressed with this crowd:

Excellent range of colours and finishes, professional site and packaging, and the frit itself is really consistent in size and shape. You don’t end up with some lumps, some flakes and some finer bits and dust. It’s quality gear.

Scale of 1-5, how much danger? It’s important to emphasize danger levels with me…

I assume these things, but still… I’ll look it up in a moment

Lucid grip is pretty good and easily available, though slightly more expensive than what you would pay for glass frit only.

Cool stuff, If i wasn’t skinning my deck I would use that over messing with epoxy

How many grams of medium frit is it necessary for a big deck like a flux? Aproximately.

Depends how densely you intend to apply it. What’s the general idea?

If you chopped a line and railed it off a hookers ass yea, internal bleeding.

It’s unprofessional as all hell. Still looks good. Inconsistent sizes you didn’t do it right.

~150g should do the trick. Better to buy a bit more and not need it though then find yourself short.
