Hi, I just got motor pulleys which fit a.m. type. Found them on Ebay but no idea if quality is ok. Is there a reliable source for ESK8 bearings with these measures in EU? I need 10 pcs.
Are you sure they can only be 6mm wide?
A regular 608 bearing is 8mm ID x 22mm OD x 7mm W
Surely 1mm extra width won’t pose a problem for easy riding?
Hi 264, yes, got these to try the ONSRA 115mm Wheel. I received them with ID:10mm OD:22mm W:6mm bearings, but I got a BN 220mm axle, so I need ID 8mm bearings. @frame of course I could use normal bearings, is doable, but the contact surface kegel core/pulley with that mm more is not optimal and the pulleys rotate a bit irregularly. I also tried with BD pulleys (a 6mm reamer did the job) but with the same result. Judging by your comments / questions, I guess I’ll have to be satisfied with that, pity.
Use metric 608 bearings.
608-RS have a single rubber seal, some brand names include Bones Reds.
608-2RS have two rubber seals
608ZZ have two metal shields
