Tried them myself real quick on my friends Hussar. But I have nothing to compare them to, since this was the first time riding pneumatics

You mean the 6 or 7"? The profile on the 7s is kinda squarish, with lower PSI they might be a bit flatter but I’m not sure I’m a fan of the tread, but they are cheap so I’ll def keep them in mind

The 6" definitely seem like a nicer profile, but I would like something like this in 7"

Did you decide on new wheels/tires?

Sadly, I have not. @Pecos has praised the 8" Novas over the 7"… I might place an order in the future when I feel like my wallet can take the shipping and customs fees. My google-fu is weak but I’ve searched aliexpress etc but haven’t found anything promising.

I feel like us EU bros are missing out

Totally.
The amount of companys in the EU ist very little compared. It sucks to have to pay shipping + taxes from the rest of the world.

So, has anyone form Europe bitten the bullet and ordered from M-boards?

We really should get a group buy going…

I’d be so down. Probably for both a set of 7" and 8" + tubes.

The import tax and customs cost until 150 € is lover than above so it will get more costly if we band together like sheep  I think…I don’t know exactly. If we could get one of the guys from the US to send to someone inside the EU and declare it as a gift we might have luck and circumvent the import tax and paying the VAT. But the shipping cost is still pretty high I imagine. If we get enough people involved maybe, But a huge package might get the attention of a customs officer…so…IDK

Maybe we could contact M-board if they have a way of shipping a larger number of tires The way Chinese manufactures send to warehouses in Europe and than ship from there and the end customer doesn’t have to pay any tax or other additional cost. hell Every small thing I order over Aliexpress arrives without me having to pay anything except the item.

Is it cheaper for companies? Maybe we should try to convince a EU vendor like Fluxmotion or Bioboards to buy a larger quantity, if a decently large group of us agree to pay them in advance? Or something like that… I don’t really know.

Sure, we can act as the middle man in Europe if that works for both us (Bioboards) and Mboards. Just let us know.

Yes pleas! Do it!

I would be down for 2 sets of 7 inch for sure!!!

I just tired to order from M boards and the shipping is 80 dollars. All together with the 22% VAT + 10 bucks for handling all together comes to around 209 €.Which IMHO is a crazy amount to pay for 4 tires.

A set of Linnpower 165x65 Pneumatic Racing Tires on the other hand cost “just”

139 €

Acedecks 180mm is almost the same price. But without the tubes.

Would be the same for me

So, I basically know how to write simple posts and read lol. Could any of you @TuneRaw or @blaz.ferlic maybe start a new thread, polling EU folks interested in Nova tires? If we have a clear number of who’d be down join and how many sets, I imagine communication between @p3andren and MBoards would go much smoother if it this were to happen

Edit: Correct me if im wrong, but I imagine Bioboards would prefer payment up front, before ordering tires for us. As to not risk people backing out and they’re stuck with the cost for ordered tires?
