Yeah - it’s not really a ‘build’ but here it is…
Cool, how do you like it?
The board is great and the whole Wowgo system just works and has plenty of power for me. Gets up to 25mph and goes up any hill I’ve come across.
I’ve done about 200 miles on the original deck and never had any issues.
The only thing is the hubs have very limited amount of rubber coated on the wheels compared to normal wheels on a direct drive or belt drive system.
This translates into numb feet on this new deck as it has no flex unlike the original deck. On smooth surfaces (like resurfaced tarmack roads) it’s amazing, especially for fast carving, but after 4 miles or so on multiple different surfaces I have to stop and shake my feet out
I’m going to go for direct drive or belt drive next on a mountain type board for off roading and keeping this for smooth roads only.
The virus situation has really opened up my city but when the cars come back I’m going to find it hard to find suitable places to ride it.
Cheers
Wowgo crew
I still love my Wowgo 2s i bought mid 2019. I still use it over both of my diy boards.
Try some rubber grip tape. Do they sell 100mm sleeves like meepo?
