Worth buing prebuilt expensive electric skateboards?

Torque boards street board is garbage. I bought it for a friend to ride. Right out of the box, the remote constantly disconnected, the phase wires were not secured with any heat shrink or electrical tape, the enclosure had gaps in it and was not secure, the truck bases were loose on the board, and the grip tape wasn’t place properly on it.

When u buy a production board, the idea is to be able to receive a board, get it out of the box, charge it, and ride it. No fucking around need. You literally just get it and ride it.

Sure a lot of the issues i could have fixed myself, but i wasnt buying it to diy shit when its advertised as a production board.

In esk8, u get what u pay for. $2,000 is definitely a good start for a GOOD QUALITY esk8.

I would go with an acedeck personally, it seems fairly high quality from what I’ve seen.
