wood enclosurer

I have been making sketched plans for a wooden enclosure. my school has a woodworking shop (thank the lord) and I was thinking of improvements I could do.
the wood I might use is redwood or Cedar. any suggestions would be grateful

My suggestion is to make the wood very thin, and wrap the wood in fiberglass afterward. 1 or 2 layers of fiberglass will be relatively clear and you’ll still be able to see the wood.

It’s definitely possible. Hoyt uses them on their boards.

I’d say just make sure to seal and finish with a protective coating to help the wood last longer.

I’m all in favor of this. If one will bother with wood, might as well show the grain.

I recommend white ash if you can find it.

Easier to work with and more flexible.
