Ok. I gotta know. What went wrong w the mobility scooter project? My father has Parkinson’s and I’ve seriously been considering something similar. I’m US so shipping puts your project outta my league but did it work? What did you do to it?

it wasn’t a project, but i thought people might be interested in the frame among other things to transform it into a gokart of sorts. i don’t have the funds for this hah.

It’s all good. Part of life. I’m thinking about getting him a recumbent trike and making it motor assisted that way he can get a work out in and be able to turn on the power if he over exerts himself.

That’s a great idea. Mobility equipment is way overpriced unfortunately, but obviously done on purpose because if you can’t walk then you need a wheelchair so they monopolies the market by making every thing expensive. It makes me really angry, it’s like insult to injury.
Much better making him something that suits his needs without shredding out thousands of $$$.

I’ll be honest, i’d love to trade it (+money if necessary) for some motors 
mine just died, looking for a pair of 170kv motors or lower kv, above 6374, the bigger the better.
10mm shaft is a must
