Was originally looking at that but it seems that the icarus and tan-tien are more favorable for a build.
I wanna get a tesseract just to push around on. Something about them. They call to me.
Actually you could also get:
Tayto+enclosure from @BuildKitBoards
Long deck+enclosure from @EboardSolutions
@hummieee deck+ @BigBen enclosure
stop it. seriously. my hole is deep enough already.
What does that mean? is that Icelandic? I like Skyr. How about LaSkyr?
LaSkyr it is
I love the feel of the Tesseract boards that are amazing and very stable at speed.
Not a huge fan of flexy decks though.
lol can’t stop, won’t stop. haha
Thanks to everyone for the feedback so far. I’ll debate it for the rest of the week and make a final decision soon.
Do you know anywhere to currently buy the kut-thaka?
I don’t think that comes out until October… but you can buy it directly from Loaded.
I could sell you the deck and enclosure, PM me
I’m thinking about it for a future build but it’s not a definite yet I’ll definitely pm you if I decide to go for it. Thx
Honestly I really like the motherboad. I think Loaded blundered when they said it was “for esk8” and didn’t have many (read any) esk8 features. Despite this, for $193, it is actually a good deal and great to ride. It’s a little less than the Ic and a little more than the Vanguard. it’s a ton of board for the price. I personally love the graphics, the flex is really nice, and the deck decently wide. If this was just a normal Loaded deck, I think way more people would want it. Loaded is working on the esk8 sector and I’d wager that they’ll have a board of their own by 2020.
Many people highlight mounting issues. It’s a slight pain, although not awful. A big reason that the mounting is annoying is due to the raised TPU little “lines” or whatever. If you use a flexible case (printed TPU) with some weather stripping, you won’t have any issues. Additionally, these ridges actually scrape off pretty easily. Since they’re just TPU deposited on the bottom layer of the deck, you can remove them where you want your enclosure to be.
yeah, so I already have a Vanguard on my boosted board and I’m avoiding the Motherboard for the reason that most have stated. I just don’t want to get something that is so limited in the amount they’re producing as well as a new “experiment” for Loaded. I may consider their next esk8 based deck though. I think Icarus https://i.loadedboards.com/136-3.htm is my go to right now.
love that enclosure!
