Interesting, looks like your retaining screw was intact. When mine fell out the grub screw was also gone. Good to know!
We have those wrenches in Australia. We call them nut fuckers and they are banned from site.
I always carry in my little backpack:
0.5l water
0.5l juice (drink this before getting on the board)
Mini bicycle pump
X2 reserve tire hoses (this is the correct name?)
Snacks (nuts usually)
Weed + accessories (grinder, paper, filter, etc)
Skate tools
Allen key
Spare belts
Of course my phone, keys and wallet as well.
Then I am pretty golden and ready to cruise for the whole day

wall outlet tester (handier for testing an outdoor outlet than pulling out the charger)
