If you’re using a Trampa VESC or similar ESC, 10AWG is fine. 8AWG for something very beefy. If you’re gonna have an XT90 on the end of it technically there is no point going larger than 10AWG as it’ll bottleneck anyway

I went with dual 10AWG from the (12s8p) battery through a AS150 antispark. This pretty much fits the full potential of the battery safely. And it’s not too bad to fit 2x10AWG inside of the connectors. Just that you will need a beefy soldering iron or solder with a flame.
