I’ve only ridden an evolve gtx deck, a custom maple double drop skateshred deck, and the haya hb92v2.
The gtx was too springy but it was fun to jump stuff with.
The custom double drop was a beast, a little heavy but it survived a 5 stair jump.
The haya, I think is my favorite of the bunch despite it breaking. It’s very stiff and feels solid under the feet. Not to mention the fact that it’s an integrated deck.
How did you redrill your holes? I only redrilled 2 holes on each side and mounted my trucks in the “old school” mount holes, which still gives me wheel-bite with my kegels if I try hard enough. Really curious as to how you got 110mm wheels to work
Top mounted them and then just drilled the end two holes close to the extremities of the deck and the other two holes go through the drop through. I’m making some plates to carry the inner truck hardware. I don’t have this board with me at the moment but I’ll try to remember a photo later.
Time will tell if it’s a good idea…
This is going to sound blasphemous to all of you guys but I really love my hummie deck. Just the right flex for me, ride height is ace, length is great.
