Ok kids. Y’all know stuff and stuff.
What is the weird high pitched vibration noise?
Starts and stops.
If the motor is really going it goes away
Does not seem to cause any issues yet…
What is the diagnosis and more importantly the cure?

Magnet rubbing would be my guess.
Stop riding, glue it back on.
theory
loose magnet touching the stator…when it spins up, centrifugal force pulls it back to the correct position.
Almost sounds like a loose 3mm key. Did you superglue or loctite that
I might not have. I’ll try that first.
Yeah sounds like a magnet, speed changes the frequency, which would be the magnet touching stator poles
That’s the exact sound of a loose Flipsky magnet.
What motors?
Flipsky 6384 190kvs
@rafaelinmissouri did you ever get the motor fixed? I have the same issue but I can’t get it to open (removed c-clip and it won’t budge)
After I battle hardened them the noise stopped… I did not notice a loose magnet. Did you also check if your key for the pulley is loose?
The motor is benched, no pulleys. Any tips for opening it?
Oh. I actually hit the top of the shaft with a rubber mallet. Those magnets are strong. Wear work gloves so they don’t get your fingers
Can you get any movement with just pulling with your hands?
They would spin fine. But moving the can away from the stator no…
Its a problem with the dickyho 6384 motors I found
It tends to come and go with no fix.
When I battle harden mine it got better but never dissapeared
