Wife gave me the same shit when I broke my elbow.
While I was in the ER there was a teenager with a fucked up ankle who had been skipping rope.
Ironically I had a CT scan last week and the orthopedic surgeon thinks the damage he sees is from a preexisting injury.

Ask your loved ones if 41 is an age to rot and die or fuck. What you need from them I bet is support, not ethic teachers about which age is good to do what 
Or do the same about their passions/hobbies when they practice, maybe they’ll understand?
@malJohann tell them if you weren’t skating, you’d be clubbing baby seals instead. That’s on them at that point.
Support would be great, or maybe PPE for my birthday, I’ve been eyeing some Lazy Rolling gear TBH.
Sadly the ones making remarks are largely sedentary, and don’t have sporty / active lifestyle hobbies.
