Suddenly on a pretty new Maytech 6374 motor from Flux (couple of 100km on them) it’s developed a certain “wobble” sound. Normally they bring a pretty loud whine or scream almost😅. My last ones that came on the Flux Motion MK1 lasted FOREVER. Did thousands of km’s on these.
But yeah on these new ones; there’s something suddenly different on throttle. Like a chopper (helicopter) sound. Talking not about loudness but the frequency of it is about right. So too fast for a wheel related prob…
Or maybe an electrical thing, that one of the strands/wrires (?) of the copper spools in the motor is busted and it runs on less spools ? Sort of like a combustion engine not running on all 4 cylinders?
It happened after a couple of miles in sandy/rocky path’s in the woods.
Still fine on power, took it easy though the rest of the 10 km home. Did’nt want to end up walking.
Once at home ; Took off the belts and they spin up fine without any weird noise. Blew the motors out with my air compressor gun. Pretty big amount of dust flying around. Also changed the wheel-bearings. So i’m thinking nothing mechanical / bearing related…
CAn you lose a wiring/ spool on a motor (is this even possible?) , has anyone ever experienced this ? Or will the motor then cut off 100% / just be dead ?
