Warhawk - 10Kw RWD Race Board

Recently picked up a Semenbone from Flowstate for myself and a friend, so I am building twins! But this thread will be mainly about mine. I’ve been out of e-skate for a while so I wanted to build a reliable/traditional setup that I know to work well (while I work on another project slowly). I’ve left plenty of headroom in the electronics for that reason.

Using the same power train I raced with in ERL, which was brand new at the time. Consists of:

  • 6495 175kv motors
  • D100s esc
  • Hoyt puck remote
  • RTKP gen 1 trucks from @Ean.esk8 @ 45/15°
  • Linnpower slicks
  • a new 16s5p P45B
  • And an older wheel design of mine from 2022.

The first prep work:

I opted to coat the whole thing in matte black to keep it simple

After the recent ERL event at Sandy Creek I decided to do a few liveries for everyone I knew, and I saved a few favourite styles for myself. My original Advan design printed a little strange, I wasn’t happy with how the red became more of an orange.

So I opted for another style:

Quick mockup looks good!! I’ve changed to a DS enclosure for future upgrades.

More to come soon as I get the rest of the hardware I need… And here we are in it’s finished form!

As a side note, the Eleanor build I did as the twin is finished as well

Some upgrades to be done soon now that I’ve got the base running :eyes:

That custom livery is fcking gorgeous!

This is so crazy to me that it fits in a single stack, man I want a Semendeed…

Its pretty sweet, the extra width of the enclosure means that you end up around the same ground clearance as double stack at full lean though.

Absolutely beautiful build but IMO those trucks are a bit wide for the bone.

I agree! I was going to put dualities on this, but couldn’t get the ride height I wanted so for now it’s sticking. Believe it or not, they actually ride really well despite their width…

did you happen to take any pics of the ride height with the enclosure on?

I don’t have a set of dualities yet, have just been in talks with @Titoxd1000 and using measurements.

Currently the ride height is 90mm to the deck, which gives about 20mm ground clearance to enclosure at full lean. A little lower should be possible with the same setup if you tried to.
