Actually got exactly that a 5065 motor but I think I will leave it for now
Might be too long, the ego uses a motor enclosure. Its quite a reliable system

That’s a tall order to stand up to.
How about after a nice snow and the roads have salty brine slush everywhere and I am fat, and I pick up 50 lbs (23kg) of stuff and have a go at putting a few thousand km on it
Well its only $150, but it might do it? It only does like 15mph which helps hugely with reliability. The water and rust resistance might not be up to such an extreme, but its almost entirely enclosed belts can probably handle snow. It was way before its time with reliability, and the only ones I’ve ever seen killed are after the 2000km mark where the motor just fails due to wear that is almost impossible to avoid or the battery has gone through so many cycles its just not fun anymore.
