Ran into a potential problem - Im building with eovan carbon fiber deck(all around cf with enclosure included) and the vx1 remote. I’m scared the cf will block the signal, any way I can extend the antenna? Or any ideas of maybe how to mount the reciever outside?

Dry fit your setup and check the signal, sometimes its fine even with cf. If not, you can always solder a wire to where the PCB antenna connects to. Also there are many cheap external antenna on ebay, for example I use this one for my trampa Wand receiver.
