Voyage Systems: Megan and Minnie

I checked it, yes, I am afraid it’s because Metr Pro CAN does not check the validity of GPS time as well as it should. So if record is started too early, the time might be invalid. Probably worth waiting a few extra seconds before starting a ride. In Megan / Minnie firmware we do better checking of GPS time.

I have the Megan configured with 24 hour time (the one true way) and it shows up like that in the app, but on the unit, it stays in the 12 hour time format. I’ve toggled it back and forth and seen it change on the app, and seen the Megan refresh the display, but it never seems to change to 24 hour. Possible bug?

You need firmware v0.27.1 or later for that to work correctly. v0.23.5 is the latest stable. You can enable beta firmware updates in misc settings and then update the FW. Beta releases are generally very stable. There may occasionally be a glitch in a specific functionality but other than that it should be safe to use. We are maybe a bit too conservative in what we release as “stable”.

With your current FW, the time format follows the unit settings – metric = 24 hour, imperial = 12 hour.

@rpasichnyk, can we hide the “Time format” setting in the app when it’s not supported by the connected device?

Awesome - I’ll run a beta.

I can’t help it that I live in a country with backwards standards :sob: :sob: :sob:

24 hour time is not considered metric or imperial.

Hi,

I have difference between battery remaining on apple watch metr and my session on minnie. Here a session Avg Speed 16.6 kph, Distance 7.6 km, Energy 490.2 Wh [Voyage Cloud] - end of session display 56.5% reamining and on apple watch it was 16%. Why is it diferent ? It doesn’t seems to have a configuration for this. I wondering why Minnie doesn’t use real amp/hour to display battery usage. Battery remaining is highly depending on voltage which is absolutely not reliable on Li-Ion. All the time I have plenty of battery left (near 40 to 50%). How can I calibrate/configure this on Minnie please? (Because vesc know amp with his current sensor)

Are you using Voyage Connect on Apple Watch?

I just grabbed a new mininie can, put it in the board, opened the metr app and all i get is blank white screen on every screen?

Uninstslled/reinstalled solved that problem. Now I’m getting this… otherwise it’s working great. Just can’t update it

Tried updating via the voyage app instead of metr?

I can’t connect the voyage mega to Wi-Fi !!! help!

I’ll give that a go this eve

Maybe you’re too far from the Wi-Fi AP?

No amigo , no meu app não aparece uma pesquisa de Wi-Fi vou mandar um print

I typed the name that appears there manually

The WiFi module on the ESP board is only 2.4 ghz, so make sure that network has its 2.4 ghz radio enabled.

Hi, do you say I must use the voyage system app on iPhone and Apple Watch instead of metr app on both device to have reliable remaining battery visibility on Apple Watch ?

Thanks for answer
