Also check can messages are ticked in vesctool.

You were All Right!

I uploaded bootlader on each ESC throught USB separately.
I upgraded bootlader on each ESC throught USB separately.
All with Minnie plugged in.

Now update of parameters (speed, currents, etc.) in Metr app is normal.
TCP bridge works with both METR app and VESC mobile app (in a more consistent way with the VESC mobile app).

Thank you @ShutterShock!

I didn’t try CAN connection without Minnie plugged in. It works now. It will stay like that! :hugs:

Hmmmm, the can in and can out on my ubox are separately terminated and read open until the circuit was turned on. The skp solos were separately terminated but my tap into the canh&canl read 60ohm. I have a d100 in the mail so I can’t check it until it shows up. The Megan can isn’t terminated unless you solder a jumper but this isn’t the first step to try. I have a megan to try on the d100 when it gets here but thats a few weeks out

I just bought the Megan, but my DV6s does not have the ports almost all open use, blue power button, yellow the receiver of the remote vx4, the two red the motor sensor, the green the bluetooth receiver of the esc, only the purple one left which is a 4-pin input,

Will it work correctly if I connect it to the purple input? Can someone give me some help

Purple is can, megan has can

Before buying a $300 device, I’d highly recommend learning how it works (just on a basic level) and if it’ll even work on your setup. It’s the bare minimum, and you should try not relying on strangers on a forum to do the work for you.

I thought it was a forum that helped each other, but over the 300 I don’t care about that, just the fact that acquiring knowledge is already great for me

We try helping people that are willing to help themselves, we can’t just do all of the work for you.

Megan works on CAN. That’s a start for you. Figure out where the CAN port on your ESC is and how to wire it from there. It’s pretty straightforward.

It’s literally this, but replace the colors with the pin labels

This is already great for me friend, thank you very much, I try to learn everything even with the language barrier, I’m always investing and in Facebook groups posting my electric skateboards I know that with this I help the follow-up, thank you again.

Esk8 Facebook groups are filled with inaccurate info and lies. Highly suggest not looking there for information.

Actually, don’t look for information there, I just post photos because there are a lot of newbies buying evolve there, so I like to post to encourage people to buy good skateboards.

Ok feeling kinda dumb. Can someone spoon feed me how to set the megan display to freedumb units? I can get the app (metr) and records to display in freedumb but I can’t seem to do the display. I know it’s probably so easy I just keep missing it lol

What’s a freedumb unit? Never heard that before.

mph :joy:

Aha! My first thought was that ā€œfreedumb unitā€ is a ā€œfreedumb ESCā€. Some brand I have never heard about.

I’m afraid we only have the metric/imperial toggle under the expert settings. We should probably fix that. @rpasichnyk

imperial units, though technically based off of metric units - historically they were based off of the varying degrees of mental illness of each of the alchemists and despots who established their use.
