I run a VESC6 (makerX miniFOCplus, firmware 5.1) in current control mode with eRPM set to limit at 25km/h, driving a hub motor AKM-75SX. When I exceed the eRPM limit (downwards, pedaling), the motor stops supporting alright. But in this situation the motor is much more noisy than in regular work mode.
Is this normal or can I tune any VESC settings/features to mitigate this slight annoyance?
