Onewheels had that feature implemented a while back. Their motor will start making beeps sound when you’re getting close to the limit.
Oh yeah!! Right before the DROP d(-_-)b
The music while moving on the hifi sounds really good. It’s got two melodies at once.
I love this feature. I don’t really do music but making various tone patterns for board warnings has been really beneficial, so I don’t need a UI. Here is what I programmed in my VESC package
-
FOC Tones
-
Duty cycle above the alert duty cycle- Configurable volume and frequency
-
Current above the high current threshold- Configurable volume, frequency and duration.
-
-
FOC Beeps
-
Footpad disengaged above 2000 ERPM - single pitch, continuous
-
Duty cycle within 10% of alert duty cycle- fast triple beep, ascending pitch, 10s repeat interval
-
High voltage - slow triple beep, ascending pitch, 5s repeat interval
-
Low voltage - slow triple beep, descending pitch, 30s repeat interval
-
High motor temp - slow triple beep, single pitch, 10s repeat interval
-
High FET temp - slow triple beep, single pitch, 10s repeat interval
-
FET/motor temp recovery, when 10 degrees below alert temperature- fast triple beep, ascending pitch, no repeat
-
Mid/Low Range Warnings - slow triple beep, descending pitch, no repeat
-
On write configuration - fast triple beep, single pitch (only when idle), no repeat
-
Idle beeper after 30 minutes- slow double beep, single pitch, 5 min repeat interval
-
Charged beep after the voltage levels out when charging- slow double beep, single pitch, 5 min repeat interval
-
