We ship pretty much anywhere so if you are in the market for a high power dual controller for a mountain board or racing setup this might be a good controller for you. We don’t plan on running too many promotions so I would grab this deal now if you need it. Probably will run the deal for a week or so.
Better Wireless connection with WiFi and BLE support as well as local logging since we use the ESP32 with 4Gb on pcb memory instead of NRF chip. Also will make for an excellent reciever for a remote that is in development.
Much higher upper limit on power, tested up to 200 amps which can even be sustained if something like liquid cooling block were used. The 100D will fault pretty repeatably around 130 amps
Better current shunt layout, better performance for things like sensorless operation and HFI.
Single large fet layout means less total points of failure from having just 12 large mosfets instead of 36 smaller ones with 3 in parallel. Not sure the exact impact of this in reality but I have to imagine it decreases odds of pulling a faulty mosfet or a weak solder joint on one of the mosfets.
GPS port connected to ESP32 so you can easily hook up a gps module and get gps data in your onboard ride logs.
For silent HFI you want a single ESC with phase shunts. But in my experience most motors don’t start near as well as if you enable the whiney sound and Benjamin has said the same to me before. Depends on resonance of the motor I think.
That said you should try some of the new HFI modes. I find some of them significantly less annoying in sound quality and less loud as well. I will ask Benjamin which ones are worth trying we have an HFI wizard on our to do list.
20s should be solid, still early days to say for sure but all tests have shown these things to be surprisingly bulletproof.
