I’m having difficulty getting bearings in the seat.


It will only go in about 2mm before stopping. I’ve tried my best to force it in with a couple of methods but no cigar. Both my pullies are like this.

Would it be a wise idea to lightly sand the bearing or bearing seat until I can push it in all the way?

Use an arbor press please :grin:

Freeze the bearings before pressing in

Try using your hanger as a press. You need some washers (skateboard flat washers) on either side and some spacers to tighten the axle nut
