Its a monoprice box, and yes the pack is a brick style with the cells standing up
It works in the snow!
Lol you legit need a plow on that bad boy
I took your advice and bought some snow blower tires, plus upgraded to the new @Boardnamics channel trucks
I had to remove one of the winglets due to tire clearances as you could imagine.
Beast mode unlocked
Looks super clean. Are those 10” tires?
How does she ride?
Thanks!
They are 9.5in and I have yet to ride more than 40 feet on it haha. Maybe today after work
Okay @Shadowfax I did about a mile and a half.
Besides a a large amount of vibrations on asphalt these tires seem pretty good they don’t wobble. When riding on anything that’s not asphalt like dirt or grass or something else you don’t notice the vibrations from the knobbies.
I have the softest bushings available on the front and rear of these trucks and they feel great to me. I have to find a way to get more foot real estate on this board because right now if I don’t have a super narrow stance my feet hit the wheels.
Also I packed the gear drives with a shit ton of grease and they sound great with these tires
Damn that video is satisfying to see. Balance looks excellent. I hope you have this board at carve. I’d love to try it out.
Is that HFI / sHFI I hear or is it just noisy sensors?
One of my sensors won’t detect, didn’t have time to diagnose so I turned on HFI for that one.
Skill issue
Haha same on my board. Currently running one motor on sHFI coupled
Okay I finally did it, I rode a skateboard in the snow. And boy do I need bindings
After this, I’m certain that I could ride in hard snow like in the videos at higher speeds and longer distances if I wasnt sliding around the deck.
I advise against riding quickly in snow, as I noticed it can make the entire board come to a sudden stop.
I quickly drew up base plate extensions to get more room for my feet. Got them from Sendcutsend in about a week.
Test ride report coming soon
Update;
Test ride went great. I did some on and off road riding. The lower ride height and being able to have all the winglets installed again has made this way more fun to ride. It’s almost too low for off roading now but fantastic for trail riding.
Looks wicked!
Seeing that board, I feel a bit like how I do when I see a super hot woman.
My first thought is:
‘Please lord, before I die, let me ride that.’
Second thought is:
‘So thankful is not my job to keep her happy.’
I love the arrow sticker!!!
This thing is such a monster. I love how it got lower!
Turning radius and flex test after installation of the truck extensions
THAT FLEX THO
