We’ll you only need tread if you anticipate gravel or water. Race cars run slicks. These have more traction than any other tire really.

Who runs these slicks? Do they need to be warmed up? My experience with slicks on cars is that suck until there is a bunch of heat in them. Pretty curious about them.
