This is a good looking battery, but besides having additional paper insulation that is mandated by this batteries layout and not required by the one I posted, this doesn’t look notable better. Use the wires are definitely zen but I’d say the safety benefits to be gained from that are… non-existant? I’d actually imagine that these wires are more likely to short in the event of an external impingement than the spaced out balance wires in the pack that I posted.

It has nothing to do with your pack. Lots of older packs have sharp nickel edges and sharp (poor) solder joints. I was merely answering that question and emphasizing the important bit.
